We know you KRAVE® an active lifestyle and keeping your body healthy is the best way to stay active. February is National Heart Month, we put together some heart healthy lunches that are tasty and will keep you active throughout the day.

Monday: Tuna Salad On Crackers + An Apple

 Tuna Salad:

2 cups Mixed Greens

3-ounces of White Albacore tuna

2 tablespoons (each): sunflower seeds, dried cherries, light balsamic vinaigrette

**Serve tuna on 2 Wasa crackers, with a wedge of Laughing Cow Light cheese.

Tuna fish is filled with omega-3 fatty acids, which are known to help the heart by preventing heart disease. Accompanied with an apple—which keeps away heart attacks and strokes—this is a heart-healthy lunch to kick off your long day at work.

Tuesday: Turkey-Avocado On Wheat + A Pear

Turkey-Avocado Sandwich:

2 slices Whole-Grain bread

3 ounces Deli Turkey Breast

1/4 cup sliced Avocado

1 slice low-fat Swiss cheese

Avocados contain oleic acid, which helps lower your cholesterol. Avocados also lower the risk of heart disease and other heart problems. Also, wheat bread and pears contain good sources of fiber that are beneficial to the heart.

Wednesday:  2 Mini Pesto Pizzas  + Cup of Grapes

 Pesto Pizzas:

 1 Whole-Wheat English muffin

2 tablespoons Pesto sauce (spread)

(Top with:)

2 ounces Pre-cooked Chicken Breast

2 tablespoons Reduced-Fat Mozzarella

**Heat the 2 halves in oven until melted.

Pesto is filled with monounsaturated fats, fats that are very good for your heart. As for your side, the natural antioxidants or phytonutrients, in grapes greatly benefit your heart. This lunch will be heart-warming—literally.

 Thursday: Bowl of Three Bean Chili + Whole Wheat Roll + Cup of Cantaloupe

 Three Bean Chili:

 1 serving Kettle Cuisine Three-Bean Chili

**Dip 1-teaspoon olive oil in whole-wheat roll.

The mix of pinto, kidney, and black beans all help lower cholesterol, and provide the right sources of protein and fiber to your heart. Where wheat also brings fiber to the heart, cantaloupe has a high level of potassium. It’s potassium helps you maintain a heart-healthy blood pressure, and protect you from cardiovascular disease.
